Join us in Brisbane for ASBMB 2025 taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2025 at the University of Queensland, St Lucia!

ASBMB2025 will bring together members of Australia's biochemistry and molecular biology community with world leaders over an exciting 2.5 day program that will facilitate knowledge exchange, foster new and existing collaborations, and celebrate scientific excellence.

Highlights of the program will include:

Plenary presentations from recognised national and international leaders in their field(s)
A diverse range of symposia featuring keynote presentations drawing on the conference's 12 research themes
Engaging poster sessions
An education workshop on day one running in parallel with the main program

We will also proudly celebrate the annual ASBMB award winners.

A significant number of spaces in the program are reserved for speakers to be selected from abstracts. In striving to deliver a lineup of speakers that reflects the diversity of our community, we encourage submissions from speakers of all career stages, gender and ethnic backgrounds.

Finally, recognising the outstanding contributions Early Career Researchers make to progress in biochemistry and molecular biology, a limited number of travel awards will also be made available. Eligibility for these awards will be assessed based on abstract submissions and registration with awards announced at the conclusion of the Conference.
