About the ASBMB

Biochemistry and molecular biology are fast-moving fields that underpin all life sciences and play a central role in many areas of economic, medical, agricultural importance to modern society.

The Australian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) exists to facilitate research, training and education in these fields across Australia, organise conferences, fund activities at a regional level, play a role in science advocacy and recognise the achievements of our members.
