The final decision on acceptances and on publication and presentation formats is at the discretion of the Organising Committee.
The following themes are broad and inclusive. You are asked to nominate your primary theme and then a second and third option.
Abstracts were required to be submitted using the guidelines in the below template.
Please click on the button below to download and save the abstract submission template. Guidelines for how abstracts should be formatted are included on the template. Incomplete or incorrect submissions will be returned for you to update and then re-submit.
When submitting you will be asked to provide a brief (100 word) biography for the nominated presenting author.
Once submitted, abstracts can be amended via the portal up until the submission deadline of 5pm AEST on Monday 23 June 2025.
The details provided as the author contact will be used as the person to receive all communications. If co-presenters are involved, the main person is responsible for sharing communications.
Abstract review results will be communicated to the author contact on Tuesday 16 July 2025.
Acceptance of offers are required to be advised to the Congress Office by no later than 5pm AEST on Friday 25 July 2025.
In order to have your abstract considered for inclusion in the program, you must have paid registration completed by Monday 23 June 2025.

The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference. Similarly, fees are not paid to successful presenters.
Presentations must be delivered in person and the ability and willingness to present in Brisbane is a condition of acceptance in the program.
The nominated presenter of successful submissions must register to attend the Conference before 5pm AEST on Friday 25 July 2025 in order for the presentation to be included in the Conference program.
Should you subsequently wish to change the presenting author to another co-author, please advise the Conference Office in advance.
Before finalising the abstract submission, you will be asked to consider and agree to the terms and conditions detailed in the submission portal.
